Japanese Hojicha Organic
Hojicha is a green tea that’s been roasted in the final finishing stage. It’s a favorite in Japan because of its nutty, yet mild flavor. It’s usually made from bancha, but this one is made from organic kukicha. Hojicha is lower in caffeine than other green teas because roasting causes the leaf to shed caffeine (which is a white powder). My tea friend Amy loves to enjoy this tea with dark chocolate!
